HaulBid

Terms of Service

Effective August 13, 2026

HaulBid is a marketplace, not a hauling company. We help you describe your junk, estimate what it should cost, and collect bids from independent licensed haulers. The hauler you pick — not HaulBid — does the work and is responsible for it.

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and [[ LEGAL ENTITY NAME, LLC ]], [[ STREET ]], Austin, TX [[ ZIP ]] (“HaulBid,” “we,” “us”). They apply to the junkhaulbid.com website, the HaulBid iPhone app, and every job posted or bid through either. By using HaulBid you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

You must be 18 or older. If you use HaulBid for a business, you represent that you can bind that business.

2. What HaulBid is

HaulBid is a venue. Customers post junk removal jobs; independent hauling companies bid on them; the customer picks a bid. The resulting hauling agreement is between the customer and the hauler. HaulBid does not own trucks, employ drivers, haul, load, transport, or dispose of anything, and is not a party to that agreement.

HaulBid currently serves a defined set of Austin-area ZIP codes and is in a limited pilot. Availability, features, and pricing may change.

3. Estimates are estimates

The price HaulBid shows you is generated by our AI estimator from your photos, your answers, and Austin market rates. It is not a quote, an offer, or a binding price. The only real prices are the bids haulers place, and the final price is set by you and your hauler.

Our estimates carry a confidence indication about measured volume only — never about price. Estimates are subject to a platform minimum, which is disclosed on the estimate whenever it applies. A hauler who arrives and finds materially more junk, restricted access, or prohibited items than the job described may reprice or decline the job.

You are responsible for describing your job accurately. Photographing part of a pile, omitting stairs, or leaving out heavy items will produce an estimate that doesn't match reality, and the hauler is not bound by it.

4. Customers

5. Haulers

Haulers are independent businesses, not employees, agents, partners, or contractors of HaulBid. You control your own schedule, equipment, crew, disposal method, and pricing.

To bid, you must and must continue to

Bidding conduct

You are solely responsible for your work, your crew, property damage, injury, and disposal. You agree to indemnify and hold HaulBid harmless from claims arising out of jobs you perform.

6. Money

During the pilot, HaulBid does not process payments for hauling jobs. You pay your hauler directly, by whatever method the two of you agree on. HaulBiddoes not hold funds, does not act as escrow, and is not responsible for payment disputes — though we want to hear about them, because a hauler who overcharges won't stay on the platform.

We may ask for a payment card to hold your booking. If we do, it is a commitment device and is disclosed before you accept a bid. HaulBid charges haulers a monthly subscription for optional storefront listings; that is the one charge we process today, and it is billed through Stripe.

Taxes are the responsibility of the party legally required to collect and remit them. Haulers are responsible for their own tax reporting.

7. Reviews and content

You keep ownership of the photos, scans, and text you upload. You grant HaulBid a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content to operate and improve the service — including showing your job photos to approved haulers so they can bid, and using de-identified measurements to improve our estimates.

Reviews must describe an actual job you were part of. We remove reviews that are fabricated, defamatory, contain personal information, or come from a party with an undisclosed interest. We do not remove reviews for being negative, and hauler ranking is never for sale.

8. Prohibited items and uses

Do not post, bid on, or haul through HaulBid: hazardous or toxic waste, asbestos, chemicals, paint (except dried latex), solvents, oil, fuel, batteries beyond household quantities, medical or biohazard waste, ammunition or explosives, refrigerants unless the hauler is certified to recover them, or anything whose disposal requires a permit the hauler does not hold. If you're unsure, ask before posting.

Do not use HaulBid to break the law, harass anyone, misrepresent who you are, interfere with the service, or access it by automated means without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers and limits

HaulBidis provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that estimates will be accurate, that you will receive bids, that any hauler will perform, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

We vet haulers, but we do not supervise their work. HaulBid is not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, property damage, injuries, or disposal practices of any hauler or customer.

To the fullest extent the law allows, HaulBid is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid HaulBidin the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

10. Disputes, law, and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

Before filing anything, email [[ support@example.com ]]. Most problems on a platform this size are a misunderstanding and a phone call.

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for breach of these terms, lapse of required credentials, or conduct that puts customers or haulers at risk. You may stop using HaulBid at any time, and can ask us to delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where they affect a live job or a hauler's obligations, communicated directly. Continuing to use HaulBid after a change means you accept it.
